Biography


Cedric Scott Wood, Ph.D., L.P.C.


Cedric was born and raised in Weslaco, Texas. He received his Bachelors in Filmmaking (RTF) from the University of Texas in Austin. He was the host of a weekly talk show, "Mental Health Week" in San Antonio, Texas from 1987 to 1990. He wrote, produced, and directed "The Spy Who Spoke Spanish," an instructional video on speaking Spanish. He received his Master's in Clinical Psychology from St. Mary's University and has just completed his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Family Therapy at Texas Woman's University. He is in private practice and is currently planning to lead seminars entitled "Emotional Intelligence Using a Conflict Model" at TPA, DPA, and TAMFT.
